An anankastic person with sufficient elements of cognition and transversal self-reflection asked me the question from the title. What to answer to someone who has never engaged in serious personal and spiritual development training? The following text was created, which can benefit anyone with sufficient cognitive - conscious potential. I started from my experience of training and learning in the Theosophical group of dr. Emil Kušec, from the instructions for Quantum Entrainment according to dr. Kinslow and some excerpts from Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
Suggestions of some options
You set yourself the task: 'Find out what I mean.' For this purpose, temporarily suspend the mental solving of tasks and the monitoring of work. Instead, register individual incoming thoughts and let them go immediately. Do not add new ones, because in the beginning there will be so many of them that you will hardly notice, register, or raise awareness. You can help yourself with the beads of the rosary to move one bead for each perceived thought and release the thought.
The first thought that you will register or become aware of already means alertness or awareness instead of the usual state of an unconscious participant in thought processes. Journaling your thoughts in the morning and using the acquired skill throughout the day will improve your mindfulness. 'Minding thoughts' in the mode of a free, silent and impartial observer reduces the initial torturous flood of thoughts. But that's not all.
In order to register individual thoughts, sometimes you have to at least temporarily make a split in the thought flood. For example: who is thinking, where are the thoughts from, what will be my next thought, where are the thoughts going, etc. A split is not an interruption of thought, it just enables awareness.
Mindfulness training leads you to a temporary, initially short-lived, mindless state that lengthens over time. This gives complete psychophysical rest, reset, deep peace, all kinds of health. Morning training gives you all-day capital to overcome stress and function well, increase attention, concentration, etc. Over time, you upgrade your mind observation training with thought control and thought emptiness.
